The photos of our backs...

...are the result of a very difficult "model" who doesn't like to stop and pose for photos; who, actually, thinks that taking photos is very boring and time consuming and doesn't want to be the photographer himself!

Because of that, most times this is what happens:

It's much easier to take photos like this one below!

Blaubeuren and Blautopf

Blaubeuren (read Blauboiren) is a nearby town that, like Blaustein, belongs to the Alb Donau kreis. Herrlingen is about halfway between Ulm and Blaubeuren.

Blaubeuren is famous for the Blautopf, the spring from which the Blau river originates. We had been told that the blautopf is a must see so we took advantage of the nice weather, on the holiday of October the 3rd, and went to check it out.

Before and After

I have been called a plant killer, by a certain someone, several times.
Now I have proof that, if I am a plant killer (and I'm not saying I am), I am not the only one in this marriage!

These photos were taken the day I left to Portugal:

All greenish and flowery and looking healthy!
These was taken the day after I came back:

All yellowish and dry!

At least I got a pot of chrysanthemums as a compensation!
